Did they all ask to Leave the club ? Perhaps in a misguided attempt to gain freedoms away from club they have encumbered themselves to. Useful idiots like these high and mighties in marketing, business, entertainment, politics and so on would have been no more than slaves to their owners in the oldest of times and anyone with the audacity to ask for release before their expiry date would have been firmly punished in the usual way for the sheer cheek of of the request.
The only opportunity being if by some chance their sight be made useless then by old law the compensation for the loss would be freedom. If the punched up eye were to heal then no freedom. As in the days of Noah ?
