This is what I saw in October 2008, it shot a blue beam just like the picture shows. it shot twice that is why I made an image showing two shots. pay attention to the round center front, the way the middle grows bigger in the base. it moved at a 35 - 40 degree angle and shot again. the only reason I saw it is because when it shot it's beam was soooooo bright it illuminated the entire inside of the ship. all I could think was "Hmmm. So they DO exist." if you can's see it well enough turn the brightness up. I called it a bird of pret because of star trek and what the Klingon bird of prey has the same middle, and two wings. Don't think that they would be silly aliens. They may well be pretty serious personalities.
