NYC Defrauded FEMA $5.3 million settlement
The City of New York has admitted defrauding FEMA after Hurricane Sandy by reporting that 132 vehicles were damaged in the 2012 storm, when many were broken down before the flooding. It has agreed to pay a $5.3 million settlement. https://nyti.ms/2DZ2wAD
