The problem with gun grabs is when they Ban the guns Before they grab them. Our grabbers here failed by an estimated 87%. They had no actual gun registers and only targeted the law biding 'gullible' licensed gun owners, Not the criminals or gangs. This was their Biggest Mistake Ever it let gangs acquire more guns than they ever believed possible. Suddenly there were guns everywhere as they were moved out of lawful owners safes and hidden or sold to criminals who paid well for them. Lawful owners brought many more (allowable) fire arms around the same time. It was only a couple of months later when we saw the first innocent  young man gunned down and executed in the street with a semi automatic riffle Just because someone didn't like the colour of his clothes. It was really sad he was only 21. Since that time others have been slaughtered. More recently a young policeman was shot dead and near my own neighbourhood a boy playing in a park was shot in the face, survived but likely will go blind. Our leaders knee jerk gun grab reactions have turned the country into a blood bath in less than 2 years.
