I've been there, Michigan, I triggered off neighbours quick fire. A first meeting, lady from duplex saying .." You aliens, Sweep up your share of the side walk!, someone could get hurt" Didn't know it from a threat or advice. Got told I Had to shovel snow off our part of the footpath, I said to lady "That's the snow trucks job!, first time also I heard the term white privilege. ( in those days you had to Ask for permission to enter America )
