Ionosphere Propagation
These are diagrams of the daytime and nighttime range propagation for the shortwave bands. The AM bands are groundwave for the daytime and skywave and groundwave for the night. The LW bands are mostly groundwave propagation and uses the D layer for long distance LW communication and skywave from 300 kHz to 1720 kHz.
