Interesting ... the graffiti wasn't painted on the wall but on something like shelf-liner. As far as posting a picture of someone else's graffiti goes, I would think that she has that right, even given that fugly law, so long as she didn't endorse the sentiment. The wry, yet defensibly rhetorical comment of "Hmm, I wonder why anybody would do something like this?" might save her bacon.

OTOH, Ian should consider himself warned ... and, if he has a lick of sense, will step lightly rather than push for this woman to be prosecuted. Everybody has unguarded moments and Ian is no exception.

A 20-year-old Montreal woman is in trouble with the police over an Instagram post. Jennifer Pawluck took a snapshot of graffiti depicting a local top police officer with a bullet in his forehead. She believes she's done nothing wrong. The picture has gone viral since Pawluck posted it, while the original graffiti has since been removed.
