Good article, Ra. While there are always mutations, our processed food diet, poison water and environmental toxins are causing the increase or so says the theory. The human male sperm count is down too. Humans stopped evolving about 10,000 to 12,000 years ago when we transitioned from hunter/gatherers to cultivating grains. This was the beginnings of our many health problems and it has only increased. Then when antibiotics were invented, many people who would have otherwise died, were saved to pass on their defective genes.

Yes, that is the politically correct approach. However, I am only looking at it from a medical/genetic perspective. If the homecoming queen had cerebral palsy or Down's Syndrome (both genetic abnormalities), this wouldn't be an issue. But since this involves sexual identity, it gets attention. And what exactly determines gender, esp when one was born with characteristics of both?  And quite a legal quagmire as well.

I am more than sure a few us know about the biological mutations that exists, this is  by all accounts is ones self-identification as a woman.  The politically correct approach here seems to be that if one claims a gender its hateful not to agree. Bah.

Hmm...the election was most likely rigged. But seriously, get a clue about transgenders. A mutation on the X or Y chromosomes can result in partial or complete failure of sexual differentiation. For example, a person could have male genitalia but female DNA. A simple test could verify that, but at this time, there is no way to correct the abnormality.
