Hello America my name is Andrew and I stand before you with a proposel, one that we will all need to act on. Of course this is the U.S.A. and we will all put our own two cents in, but because we are free not one of you will be looked down upon for your ideas and the mojority will rule. Some people say America is on her knees and we must act; and I sort of agree with them. The only difference is that I believe that America is no longer on her knees but she is standing up and fighting back. No longer is America going to be led around by a few of the people in Washington D.C. People that are corrupt, only looking out for the interst of the upperclass, and all the greedy tycoons.
The United States of America is equal to its people. What are we telling people around the world when we allow the government to control the masses? What are we telling our children? This country was founded on the ideals of equality and we as a country have come so far with rights gained for all. Let us all put our past behind us join forces and become one people of Americans! Not african-AMERICAN, asain-AMERICAN, or latin-AMERICAN. If you were born here than you my good friend are an AMERICAN! We are the American people; a country is only as good as its people so we must become a nation of good people. We must all rally around our flag, I know this can be done it happend after 9/11 so it's not hard.
Ben Franklin said, and I quote, "Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters." Have we become the slaves of D.C. Just because a few old people feel a certain way on something doesn't mean they can do what they want or reject it because they don't believe in it. We the people are the ones in control here not those in the government they are just messangers of the people that is all. They are there to do our bidding. We need to start focusing on ourselves and not care what the world thinks or whats going on in the world. America first! I'm not saying we shouldn't help those in need but to much of the focus is on other countries and not on ours!
Enough of this talking and using web sites and blogging! It's time to put our foot down now! WE MUST ACT!
I am located in Charlotte, NC. with enough responses I will organize a rally or sorts. A meeting that we might come together and start a change of representatives where the peoples voice is heard. I can not do this alone! I need your help America!
