.......As far as the cops go "Just following orders" hasn't been recognized as a valid defense since the Nazis tried it at Nuremberg. They're all equally guilty.

Mayor Claims Quartzsite, Arizona Under Martial Law After State Of Emergency Declared During Secret Meeting

Quartzsite, Arizona, the town now infamous for arresting a citizen for speaking during a public city council meeting, has apparently declared martial law.

 

This, according to Quartzsite Mayor Ed Foster, happened after a secret meeting was held during which the city council voted in favor of declaring a state of emergency.

Jennifer Jones, the woman who has gone on a full scale crusade against corruption in the small town of 3,600, posted an urgent update on here blog The Desert Freedom Press.

“At about noon today, the town council, at the request of the police chief, declared an official state of emergency. Sgt Xavier Frausto was dressed in tactical gear when he and the police chief demanded the mayor get in their car,” wrote Jones.

 

That’s right, according to this report, police in tactical gear ordered a sitting mayor to a potentially illegal secret meeting.

The Mayor instead drove himself to the meeting which he himself later called illegal.

World Net Daily spoke with Jennifer Jones who now fears for her safety in the small town 2 hours outside of Phoenix.

 

“They’ve got their tactical gear on, the police chief and his sergeant,” Jones said. “I don’t know what that means. I need to get the word out in case they come here. I am very concerned for my safety.”

 

An Arizona Republic report confirms that Quartzite Mayor Ed Foster has indeed called the situation in his town a form of martial law but also quotes the Vice Mayor as saying that while she condems the meeting, martial law is not necessary the right word to use.

 

“Foster said the council had imposed martial law, but Vice Mayor Barbara Cowell said that does not accurately characterize the action. She added that the city attorney had condoned the meeting and that a recording of the session will be made accessible to the public today,” The Arizona Republic reported.

The situation in Quartzsite has been heating up as the story of Jennifer Jones and her unlawful arrest during a city council meeting has gained momentum after being covered by multiple mainstream newspapers.

PLEASE join a newly formed group in this 12160 forum called FIRE CONGRESS 2012 CAMPAIGN

I Googled "How to fire congress" out of outrage of yet another thing Congress was allowing to happen. It is just one big heap of B.S.  Suffice it to say, I actually found a website who had organized the Ousting of Congress and has it all planned out ready to be infused with passionate citizens who are willing to kick some butt.  Its like a turn-key campaign...everything is laid out; the step by step plan replete with bummer stickers, posters, etc.  I did post it as a blog, but felt it should have its own group (FIRE CONGRESS 2012 CAMPAIGN), because it combines so many of the issues of the other groups all into one.  If we are successful then it will affect so many of our concerns, the proverbial 'kill many birds with one stone".   So yesterday I started to put it together.  It will take me a few more days to get it all organized in this forum, however I have some info there you can start to become familiar with.

Although this group is a subset of the campaign started on kickthemallout.com we can use the forum here to coordinate efforts, recruit in and outside of this forum, get the word out to the public to build a membership base of an influential size.   I have some ideas on how to accomplish this, however it would be great to brainstorm how we can accomplish this and then divide up the efforts among the group.

All of this crap screams wrong.  I keep looking at the video, and really look at the officers a few did not look like it to me they were happy about being involved in this crap.   In other videos the cops almost look like they are holding back a smirk look.  But not these.  I wonder if they did it just following orders so they would not lose their jobs?  If you look at the video with the cops handing out tickets to the car supposedly parked more than 12 inches from the curb.  You can clearly see the cops were enjoying every minute of it.  

Another thing is in most others videos the cops ran in, and sometimes body slammed the victim to the floor.  It did not happen in this video.  

 

At least the woman had the mayor on her side.  Any arrest I believe will get dropped just like in the other many cases.  Only one person clapped when the police escorted her out too.  A lot of the audience looked shocked.

I just watched it, wow, that was so wrong how they treated her.  I heard a guy saying in the audience 'she has a right to speak'.  Sounded like she was saying something about unsubstantiated taxes levied on the people in her town, but it was hard to make out because the council kept interrupting her. 

 

The police officers were just big bouncers and that do what they are told 'lap dogs'.  I would hate to be a cop in these times as they have to know they are working for a corrupt system. 

 

The members of the public at the council hearing were shocked as they arrested her.  I wonder if any of them spoke up after the camera stopped taping because I think if they knew this was a complete violation of their rights they would have stormed out in protest. 

One thing disturbing was you can hear one person cheer as she was lead out, what an a-hole.  That person is either an idiot or ...well I cannot think of anything else...so idiot it is.

 

This video, imo, is very telling about our government's attitude toward 'the citizens of the USA'.
