If you would like to donate to the legal fund for the church volunteers being held in Haiti, you can contact the church office at 208-888-4189 (someone will return your call) or go to your local US Bank and give to the "10 American Support Fund".

Media reports continue to suggest that release of our loved ones is imminent. At this present time, we still have not heard any official word about this. As soon as we have received reliable confirmation of release, we will let you know. Until such time the family continues to pray and wait for that all important phone call.

Our confidence continues to remain both in our faith and in the attorneys that represent our people. We understand that judicial proceedings take time, and even though we wanted them home yesterday... we will be just as glad to have them home tomorrow.

This week family members have met together to pray... to consult legal counsel... and to consider how best to bring our people home. We know they will have challenges when we see them again.

Their experience has been both physical and emotional. They will need time to rest and reflect. Time to embrace one another and enjoy their freedom. Time to prepare themselves for the day when they will want to face the media.

Thanks to all for your continued thoughts and prayers. Each expression of kindness from a phone call to a drop by visit has made this entire ordeal much more bearable.

Now we wait and pray believing that in the coming hours we will receive the news we have waited for. Until then we watch for your stories and scurry to the telephone each time it rings.

Perhaps our next press conference will have the news we have all waited for each day this week. Lets get our people home and lets do it soon.
