We’ve heard the Roswell Incident continually probed and analyzed into infinity and still the answers evade explanation. The skeptics will stick to the Project Mogul theory of a top secret high altitude listening device in a balloon train designed to detect atmospheric signatures of Soviet Atomic weapon detonations. We have heard the weather balloon cover story. We’ve heard that Lieutenant Walter Haute under orders from Colonel Butch Blanchard, delivered the news of a recovered crashed disk by the 509^th Bomber Group. We’ve even heard of the shocking intelligence report received by the Pentagon from General Nathan F. Twining that flying saucer sightings were real and that they outperformed the best fighter aircraft of the day.

A captured rocket?

However, there may be another plausible explanation that might at least explain what happened at one of the crash sites where witnesses described a US Army recovery operation and were detained, questioned, and warned not to speak about what they say. This was a group of archaeological personnel, who stumbled upon a crash site and may have even witnessed an injured, small entity, not human, as the only survivor of the ordeal. We may or may not be in speculative territory when the possibility of an errant rocket, a captured V-2 launched from nearby White Sands Air Base might have been off course and left debris that was not accurately identified.

A launched flying wing?

Here’s a possible scenario. Rumors the German built A-9, a larger rocket with more distance capability than the V-2 was also being tested at White Sands. However, those were not the only vehicles that had been seized by the 42^nd Infantry Division when they captured Peenemunde test facility. The Horton Brothers flying wings were also being analyzed and tested at White Sands. One might recall that witnesses did not describe a perfect disk but a bat winged shaped craft that had wrecked in the New Mexico desert. This would more accurately fit with the shape and characteristics of the “Flying Wing” that the Germans were testing while Jack Northrop was building his flying wing bombers and fighters during the same time frame.

Rumor of fatalities

There is supposedly evidence that a crew and an attempt to pilot a converted A-9 rocket was made at White Sands and it was launched but there was a fatal crash. Atop that A-9 rocket as a payload could have been the Horton Brothers flying wing as the intended manned craft. The US Army had already launched a 2 stage configuration with an American made Wac Corporal rocket as the sitting atop the V-2 booster stage which successfully launched from White Sands testing range. Had the configuration of a Horton Brothers flying wing using a V-2 as its booster stage malfunctioned, got off course, or crashed off of the White Sands proving grounds it would have been hard to identify for sure! Could an incident such as this created the extraterrestrial stir? Also, the human body can go through some grotesque physical deformities under high G’s and sudden catastrophic decompression. This we witnessed with “Tomato Man” the infamous extraterrestrial crash victim that turned out to be a USAF pilot killed during a crash under extreme heat generated from the resulting fire.

Conclusion

There will probably never be an adequate explanation for what happened at Roswell being the Roswell Army Airfield day to day operational reports were inexplicably destroyed at that time frame which adds even more to the mystery itself. We can only look at all possibilities and shake our heads in wonder. But, one thing is for sure, it was not a weather balloon or Project Mogul as the cover up specialists have attempted to get us to believe.
