Woke up this morning and fell out of my dreams

You were always so obsessed with your pleasure,
Still I keep trying as the lies continue flying
It’s a different world there’s no denying
More often than not I’m left sighing
Won’t do any good to be crying,
They say we’ll colonize Mars
While all the sheep worship Hollywood stars
Your country going down the tubes and you’re at the bars
While criminal politicians publish their memoirs,
Excuse me for rejecting free tickets to the menagerie

The search for intelligent life at an all-time low
As mankind takes a step backwards blow by blow
I might as well take a nap in new fallen snow
