A Perilous Fate

The ruthless and godless walking down the street
Just the kind of people you don't want to meet,

Living within their harmful delusion
No Mister it's not just their confusion,

The sleep walking fools walking down the street
Not the kind of people you'd like to meet,

Non existent compassion as cold as sleet
Hear them chanting as they riot in the streets,

A mass psychosis on the rise
Government instructed you can see it in their eyes,

One part empty headed and 2 parts lies
They conveniently ignore aborted baby's cries,

Never thought society could possibly come to this
Met my ex lover who emitted a mountain lion's hiss,

Sorry my Dear all I wanted was a kiss
Oh the masses and their ignorant bliss,

We have a new sport in the city throwing tear gas cans
Perfect for the restless Bolsheviks with no plans,

Remembering when a moon shot brought about pride
Now there's parades full of skirt wearing men rainbow dyed,

A Brave New World immersed in insanity
Neatly wrapped in a veil of profanity,

Who in God's name would ever have asked for all this
Like watching two aircraft in a near miss,

No morals no ethics just a free for all of greed
Who planted this demon seed?

As I swirl another wine glass and watch the fools
Kids fairy tales are now centered around ghouls,

Pardon me if I exit this cold cruel world
No telling what kind of violence about to be unfurled,

America the beautiful America the Great
Now the government has filled it with hate,

Tell me my brother in the future what do we await?
Nothing but uncertainty and a perilous fate?
