Was the strain he was infected with...the same strain that the lab created, which is resistant to antibiotics? Lyme disease also appears often to be resistant to antibiotics. Could a certain antibiotic resistant strain of the Lyme disease pathogen have originated in a lab, perhaps infecting a lab worker and then was passed on to the public?
