Somewhere in America, a young mother nurses her child. The television is on, playing some mindless reality show. She doesn't notice her baby's eyes searching for her own. She is too engrossed in the drama unfolding on the screen. Her baby finally closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep without the intimate contact of looking in his mother's eyes.
At the same time, a man reclines in his favorite chair. His laptop on his legs shows one of his internet games. He is proud of reaching level 63. The television, which is on 24/7, blares out the voice of Sean Hannity. Sean is once again incensed because of those liberal Democrats. The man's wife comes to the doorway from the kitchen and asks if he would like to join her at the table for dinner. No, he says. He worked hard today. He will just eat in the living room. Another chance for interaction with real people in his life spent instead listening to the bleating sheep-like voice coming from the television.
Scenes like this play out every day. If most people were asked questions like: What have you learned lately, What have you done for someone else out of pure kindness, or What goes through the minds of your children? they wouldn't have an answer. If people don't even know about what goes on in their own families, or about the homeless guy they see on the way to work every day, how can they possibly know about the sorry state of the world?
The questions that should arise from this are: How did things get this way, and what can we do about it? Why should we care?
By all means we should care. We want free and natural lives, but cannot have them as long as humanity is collectively enslaved. The point of this article is not to debate whose design caused the state of our world. It could be demons, aliens, the Illuminati, or the Super Rich Elite. Nobody knows for sure. There is a plan and a purpose for the enslavement. This plan has been unfolding for a long time. Some say decades. Some say hundreds of years. That doesn't matter.
We who are waking up have seen the dumbing down of our children through indoctrination, drugs, chemicals, and the media. Those children grow up and then shape the world their own children will grow up in.
At some point in our lives, we came across some little seed of truth. It was undeniable. We had known for a long time something was wrong. We just didn't know what. Every election, accusations would fly. Promises would be made. Parties elected would change, but nothing else would. As if the train was on the same track, we just kept changing conductors. We started seeing corporations for what they are. Working us like slaves and then stealing us blind for the basic necessities of life. We heard promises not to raise taxes, and then the government would rape our paychecks even more. Our young men were sent to die in foreign lands, and we were lied to about the reason.
The more we learned, the more we wanted to know. It was as if a fire had been lit in us that we didn't want to put out. Now we need to turn our attention to the people who haven't awakened from the dream world yet. We want them to see, but they can't. It is too overwhelming. Too far fetched. How can we prove it to them, make them see?
No great work is quick or easy. It requires dedication, careful planning, and willpower. Very seldom does large scale communication work. Networks and webpages dedicated to the truth are mainly for those who are already awake. That is where we go to increase our knowledge and keep up with the latest developments. I believe the key is to pick away the illusions a little chunk at the time on a person to person level. If you can find a person who is open to new ideas, present them with one small truth. Just a small thing. Something you can prove without a doubt, using mainstream sources. Once you have convinced them, let it rest a few days before giving the next food for thought. When you can tell that your target has absorbed enough truth to know they have been deceived, show them books that have opened your eyes. Give them the link to your favorite truther website. Pick subjects that you know they care deeply about, whether it is government, natural health, personal freedom, corporate theft, or the Fed. Change the minds of humanity one person at the time. Actually you can work on several people at once, just separately.
If many people agreed to these tactics and put them to use, we could sway more people to the cause of truth. Calling people names, shoving huge volumes of information in their faces at once, or constant bombardment will not work. If our goal is really to reach critical mass, where enough people are awake to make us a force to be reckoned with, we have to have a plan. We have to all work on this as if our lives depended on it. They do. Time for change is short. I don't believe all of America will be in lock-down tomorrow. But you never know when it will occur. We need as many people awake and on our side as we can get.
