In this day of urbanization, anything which interrupts the daily services can have devastating effects. Do you know your vulnerabilities? Do you know what to keep on hand? Do you know how long you might need to quarantine yourself and loved ones?

We all live in an area prone to some type of natural disaster, there is no safe place on earth. Due to high population densities, we are all at risk for epidemic or pandemic exposure. The proliferation of prepper shows has created some overly contentious expectations. If people are interested I would like to start a blog post here. We can look at current events and see how similar situations could occur near us. And offer some ways to be ready. I don't consider myself an expert, so this will be an open format where suggestions can be shared and I will test as many as possible and provide feedback to the group.
