Bad Cop Alert: Cop Arrested For Posing As A Girl Online
(Derek Wood) - Details are a bit muddy right now on this arrest but apparently a Bunnell police officer was arrested and accused of posing as a young girl on Facebook to get racy or sexual pictures of young boys.
WKMG: Michael Gerard Stavris II, 30, of Palm Coast, was arrested on two counts of computer pornography and child exploitation prevention act and one count of criminal use of personal identification information.
However, Stavris' future mother in law claims the police officer is framed by an ex girlfriend.
"I tell you this was all prompted when him and the ex-girlfriend broke up and he wouldn't take her back," Sherry Blevins said.
Stavris was arrested at the Bunnell city hall, was held on a $125,000 bond and then later released after posting bond.
