Banker's Bullshit....
The shit is getting deep over here.... Literally...this is at least the 15th time that my bank has contacted me to advise me that if I don't get their overdraft protection for my debit card, my card will be denied for insufficient funds when appropriate.....
SO...???
The reality is that they WANT me to be afraid of being seen in public with a card that is declined. They WANT me to believe that when my card declines for lack of money that I am "less-than"...a sub-human.
No I'm not....I'm just broke, that's all. Being broke is a temporary condition....being poor is a lifestyle!
The reason why they want me to believe this is so that they can keep charging me $33 every time they cover one of my purchases!!! If you've never had it happen to you, believe me, it get's expensive REALLY fast. Within a matter of hours (or less), the bank can legally extort $100 of my/your hard-earned cash (per day even)-- because they've duped me into agreeing to their bullshit scam!!!

Join a nice local credit union. Do not deal with banks. You can get all "banking" services from a credit union and none of the BS charges and local people make up the management.
