A bomb explosion outside the parliament compound sparked waves of shock in the Greek capital of Athens on Saturday evening.
According to the Greek media, the blast occurred near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier outside the parliament building and its was audible kilometers away. A time bomb device was left near a dust bin in bushes, said officials. No casualties or major damages have been announced yet.
Reportedly, there was an anonymous telephone call to the Eleftherotypia daily newspaper some 10 minutes before the blast.
