This is a good movie to watch even if you don't care about cancer. It shows the evil of the medical industry and the FDA.

Greg: Only available until June 13... Then this will be banned from 12160?

It is a pity that they were not able to make it free on an ongoing basis - for something as important as this, and the obvious financial resources needed to fight BIG PHARMA et al, the price of $13.00 + shipping for a DVD is, and would be, of a worthy cause.

But as far as it being banned after June 13th - I guess it just won't work anymore and it would need to be taken down if this is the case...

INFLUENCE ON GOVERNMENT:

The pharmaceutical industry's largest lobby, is in Washington, DC.

There are more pharmaceutical lobbyists there, than there are members of Congress, and it gives copiously to POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS.

As a result, the prescription drug legislation, and policies that come out of Washington, are usually made to order for the industry.

On July 20, 1995, the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission raided the office of Glenn Warner, MD, an oncologist with unusual views on healing, and revoked his medical license. Allegedly,
Warner had cured more than 1,000 patients from terminal cancer—not with chemotherapy and radiation but with diet and exercise regimens, certain immunotherapeutic drugs, and other holistic methods. When he appealed his case in court, the commission’s attorney, Beverly Goetz, argued that
cancer patients were “incapable” and “unqualified” to decide whether they received quality care or not. Only experts—like the members of said commission—were capable of making that judgment call, she said.

Unfortunately, this standpoint seems to prevail in the United States these days. Self-determination takes a backseat in favor of state-mandated “health care.” A fact that becomes eerily obvious in cancer cases where minors are involved.
