The historic Arctic front crippling Texas’s power system, sending energy prices soaring to record levels, is intensifying. The climate crisis is finally hitting where it hurts, and every one of us is going to pay for it. “It is a pretty brutal air mass,” said Bob Oravec, senior branch forecaster at the U.S. Weather Prediction Center, and it is creating a brutal situation on the ground. First reports of people dying from the cold are coming in.

As Texas deploys its National Guard, ‘Grid Chaos’ is leaving millions freezing in darkness. The energy crisis continues to spread, with nearly 5 million people across the U.S plunged into darkness as authorities are fighting to avoid a total collapse of the grid.

Homes and businesses from North Dakota to Texas are losing power in the middle of an unprecedented deep freeze with broken daily temperature records in hundreds if not thousands of places. The blackouts are likely to continue throughout Tuesday with no firm end in sight as the cold weather is forecast to remain through Wednesday and beyond. Between now and March, only a few days of relief are promised.

“The situation is critical,” said Neil Chatterjee, a member of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The Climate crisis has turned into catastrophic climate news not only for the continued freeze in natural gas distribution but for the explosion in electricity prices, which could see many customers see a February electricity bill in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. And now reports of oil refineries shutting down are coming in, pushing oil prices higher. This is going to be a costly climate event.

Gas processing plants across Texas are shutting as liquids freeze inside pipes, disrupting output just as demand for the heating fuel jumps. Prices have surged more than 4,000% in two days in Oklahoma. 

The Texas grid failure is quickly morphing into a public health crisis as millions freeze with temperatures near zero. Rolling power outages are in effect as some of the coldest air ever is continuing to pour into the central U.S. The crisis is even spreading into Mexico.

It is sad to say that some people may freeze to
death amid this ‘perfect storm’ of freezing
 temps and no supply of power to provide heat.

“The cold air is entrenched across the middle part of the country. High temperatures are amazingly cold, some 50 degrees below average.” That’s probably because global warming was always a scam championed by idiotic, naïve, or corrupt politicians who never took a science course, a description that covers the vast majority of them. When the cold clears and we find dead, frozen bodies, I wonder what we should do to people, organizations, and political leaders who insist this was all due to man-made global warming.

The coldest spot in the U.S. was 25 miles east of Ely, Minnesota, where readings fell to -50 degrees Fahrenheit. As of 7 a.m. New York time, 2,653 flights around the U.S. through Monday had been canceled, the majority in Dallas and Houston.

The National Weather Service (NOAA) said, “Over 150 million Americans are currently under Winter Storm Warnings, Ice Storm Warnings, Winter Storm Watches, or Winter Weather Advisories as impactful winter weather continues from coast-to-coast. When all of Texas, almost all of Louisiana, and nearly all of Mississippi are under winter storm warnings, it is cooling, not global warming, that is winning the race to climate reality.

It is now Tuesday morning, and frigid air continues to pour into the central U.S., overwhelming power grids forcing operators to implement rolling blackouts. Climate history is being made, and it’s a sad, if not pathetic, story as many still insist the world will perish from too much heat.

Texas electricity grid is facing massive demand as cold weather hits sout.... Energy Trader: We’ve Officially Hit “Holy S*it Levels” Texas power grid operator ERCOT has issued a statement warning of an “energy emergency” and threatening “rotating outages” just when residents need the power to heat their homes the most: “We are experiencing record-breaking electric demand due to the extreme cold temperatures that have gripped Texas,” said ERCOT President and CEO Bill Magness.

“At the same time, we are dealing with higher-than-normal generation outages due to frozen wind turbines and limited natural gas supplies available to generating units. We are asking Texans to take some simple, safe steps to lower their energy use during this time.”

Wholesale power for delivery Sunday traded at anywhere from $3,000 to $7,000 a megawatt-hour in some places, triple the records set in some places Saturday and a staggering 2,6... at Texas’s West hub. Average spot power prices traded around $1,500 per megawatt-hour Sunday afternoon, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

“Spot prices are expected to hit $9,000 on both Monday and Tuesday,” said Brian Lavertu, a trader for Active Power Investments. “Power is going to be wild through Tuesday.”

Is it Cold Enough Yet to Destroy the Global Warming Narrative?

Global warming has always been a false narrative, fake news, a scam of wild proportions. We will not sweat to death, but many will freeze to death because modern civilization has not been preparing for what many scientists have been warning about—the next mini-ice age.

Meanwhile, in his new book, “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster,” Bill Gates lays out the tech breakthroughs and sweeping policies we’ll need to take on global warming when it’s global cooling we are facing. He and all who support the Green New Deal are being proved wrong, and in this case, dead wrong as people die from the increasing cold.

The overall Green New Deal calls for ending the use of oil and natural gas, moving to electric vehicles, solar, wind, and geothermal power, imposing carbon taxes to reduce C02 emissions, and providing government subsidies to non-carbon-based energy technologies. Translated, like Germans, are experiencing today, it is a plan to freeze to death millions. In Germany, all the solar panels are covered with snow, and there is no wind to drive wind farms. Germans are in trouble, cold trouble. Texans are facing the same as wind turbines freeze.

All of life depends on nutrition and the
most basic form is CO2. Just ask any plant.

In the United States, unemployment is through the roof, and 2020 saw the most extensive economic contraction in modern history. Where is the money going to come from to keep millions of people warm after their lives have been destroyed by maniac health officials who insist on doing everything wrong? Bill Gates thinks happily the opposite, for he sees this all as part of the final solution.

Sad Conclusion But A Solution

Move south, way south if you can afford to do so. I can not even begin to imagine that as far south as Texas, millions of people are caught in their homes with no heat as they face zero-degree temperatures. They are trying to stay warm and even alive. This week only offers a taste of things to come, so get serious. We have decades ahead of increasing cold, catastrophic cold, killing cold.

I would like to imagine people with infrared mattresses and a small generator to power them in such conditions. The house can be freezing, but you would be warm and toasty under the covers as long as you had a little power. Having camping stoves in the house to have hot tea or coffee can mean a lot. It is important to remember that cold, damp conditions are hazardous to our health.

Do I have to remind anyone to stock up on warm clothes, very warm clothes, and blankets, plenty of blankets. Forget what the press and Bill Gates have been lying to you about us going up in smoke and sweat. The madness that has engulfed the world isn’t just connected to a virus. There is a massive deception at work, leaving uncountable millions vulnerable to converging events.

We are now promised a food apocalypse as food prices explode to the upside. Now an energy apocalypse as energy prices also explodes upward. Driving both is a cold apocalypse that is caused by a grand solar minimum. And in-between, we are being promised a financial and economic Armageddon. Survival is no longer assured, so beware and take care.
