The battle to keep chloramine out of the West Shore's water supply has reached the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
In a motion filed with the court Monday, attorney Susan Pickford asks that the issues dismissed by the Commonwealth Court -- including whether there were violations of due process rights and whether Pennsylvania American Water adequately informed consumers -- be addressed by the higher court.
Pickford, who also runs the
Chloramine Information Center, is representing a contingent of Camp Hill residents opposed to Pennsylvania American Water's plan to add the disinfectant, which combines chlorine and ammonia.
