Greek - Chi (uppercase Χ, lowercase χ; Greek: χῖ) is the 22nd letter of the Greek alphabet, pronounced /ˈkaɪ/ or /ˈkiː/ in English.
Egyptian - Chi is the Greek variant of the Egyptian/Kemetic "Ka", which was perceived as the vital essence of a being, with death occurring when the ka left the body.
Chinese - Ch'i or qi (氣) = "energy force". In traditional Chinese culture, qì or ch'i is an active principle forming part of any living thing. Qi literally translates as "breath", "air", or "gas", and figuratively as "material energy", "life force", or "energy flow". Qi is the central underlying principle in traditional Chinese medicine and martial arts.
Concepts similar to qi can be found in many cultures, for example, prana in the Hindu religion, pneuma in ancient Greece, mana in Hawaiian culture, lüng in Tibetan Buddhism, ruah in Hebrew culture, and vital energy in Western philosophy. Prana (प्राण, prāṇa) is the Sanskrit word for "life force". In Hindu philosophy including yoga, Indian medicine, and martial arts, the term refers collectively to all cosmic energies, permeating the Universe on all levels. It is the sum total of all energy that is manifest and while prana is often referred to as the "life force" or "life energy", it also includes energies present in inanimate objects.
Igbo - Chi = 'spirit' or 'life force' in the Igbo religion. The Igbo people, historically spelled "Ibo" are from southeastern Nigeria and one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa. In the 19th-century Jesuit missionaries introduced aspects of European ideology into Igbo society and culture, sometimes shunning parts of the culture and why it's not longer what it once was and the same applies to virtually all cultures worldwide.
Chi is the personal spiritual guardian of a person and is conceived as ḿmúọ́, a spirit which determines destiny. The breath of life is in the heart, óbì. Chi refers to the light and the day in contrast to the dark. The universal chi indirectly in charge of everything is Chukwu who is the supreme being that is beyond the limits of time and space. Chukwu's name is a compound of the words chí + úkwú ('great in size, supreme'). Chi is believed to be a spiritual connection between an individual and the high god and it dictates the trajectory of a persons spiritual journey on earth. Each chi is personal and is in communion with and inseparable from the universal chi of all things.
Christ - Christós, meaning "anointed", in Hebrew = "Messiah" and is used as a title for Jesus in the New Testament. Jesus came to be called "Jesus Christ", meaning "Jesus the Christós" after his death and believed resurrection.
The Labarum was a military standard which displayed the first two Greek letters of the word Christ — Chi and Rho. It was first used by the Roman emperor Constantine I.
Mythology characteristically differs in the details, but in every case, the details are meaningful never random. According to Lactantius, a historian of North African origin, saved by poverty and patroned by Constantine ? as his son's Crispus tutor, (On the Deaths of the Persecutors, chapter 44) and writing in Latin, Constantine had dreamt of this emblem and a voice saying "In hoc signo vinces" ("In this sign you shall conquer"). On waking he ordered his soldiers to put the emblem on their shields; that very day they fought the forces of Maxentius and won the Battle of the Milvian Bridge (312), outside Rome.
Chi-Rho or Chi-Ro;•Both Chi and Ka are references to animating Energy.
•Ro, Ra, Re, Ri are all references to the Sun.
•Ka ra te (karate) is a Japanese variant of the Chinese word "Chi Gung", both referencing an energy flow or manipulation with the empty hands.
•Chi Ro practic is a healing art performed with the empty hands, anciently originating in Kemet.
•The spelling of Christ in Greek is "Χριστός", the first two letters of which are the Chi and Ro.
•The alleged miraculous deeds attributed to the Christ were performed with his hands, his empty hands.
•"Christ" is a title, not a name; the suffix "-ist" is Latin for "one who" does the quality of the root preceding the "ist," i.e. chriopractist, podiatrist, dentist, botanist, therapist (that oddly spells The Rapist!).
•As a title, Christ is synonymous to "Chiro-ist," one who practices "Chiro"- healing with empty hands, manipulating the animating energies of Life.
So there you go - take what you will from it...peace.
