Comey revealed Abedin mishandled classified docs

FBI Director James Comey, in his testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday confirmed a story Infowars.com Washington Bureau Chief, Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D., broke in 2016, then serving his previous capacity as a Senior Staff Reporter for WND.com.

“Huma Abedin’s practice of sending thousands of State Department emails to her personal email account at Yahoo.com that ended up on former Congressman Weiner’s laptop appears to be a clear criminal violation of national security laws regarding the handling of classified material,” Corsi said.

“The Department of Justice needs to convene a grand jury to pursue prosecution of Abedin and very possibly other former State Department officials, including Hillary Clinton herself,” Corsi stressed.

Under questioning from the ranking member, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Dem.-Calif., Comey revealed on Wednesday that Huma Abedin, then a State Department aide to Secretary Hillary Clinton, had forwarded classified State Department emails to her then husband, former Congressman Anthony Weiner, in an apparent criminal violation of federal laws regarding the handling of classified information.

“Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information,” Comey testified. “His then-spouse Huma Abedin appears to have had a regular practice of forwarding emails to him to print out for her so she could deliver them to the secretary of state.”

On Aug. 29, 2016, Corsi broke the story on WND.com, reporting that Huma Abedin forwarded some two-thirds of her State Department emails to her personal email account at yahoo.com, including emails containing national security classified information.

On Sept. 8, 2016, Corsi published on WND evidence that Abedin had forwarded an email from Clinton dated Aug. 8, 2009, clearly marked “classified,” to her Yahoo.com account, providing even more evidence a crime had been committed.

As Roger Stone noted in his book Making of the President 2016, page 258, “As September 2016 progressed, Corsi speculated that if Abedin had archived conceivably thousands of Clinton-related emails off-line at her private account at Yahoo.com, she might have been allowing foreign entities, or other unauthorized users to access and read the file. Anyone with access to Abedin’s username and password could read in real time and completely unredacted all the emails Abedin sent to her yahoo.com email account.”

Stone further noted, on page 259, on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, the Wall Street Journal reported that FBI investigators had discovered 650,000 emails related to the State Department on Weiner’s seized laptop.

The Wall Street Journal further noted it would take weeks, at a minimum, “to determine whether those messages are work-related from the time Ms. Abedin served with Mrs. Clinton at the State Department; how many are duplicates of emails already reviewed by the FBI; and whether they include either classified information or important new evidence in the Clinton email probe.”

Comey’s congressional testimony on Wednesday confirmed Abedin transferred to Weiner’s laptop State Department emails containing classified information – a fact the FBI had not previously disclosed.

What Comey neglected to point out in explaining why the FBI decided to reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails on Oct. 28, 2016, with less than two weeks left in the presidential election, was that Weiner’s laptop remained in the possession of the New York Police Department.

Had the FBI not reopened the investigation, the NYPD might have decided on the NYPD’s authority simply to make public the Abedin State Department emails found on the Weiner laptop – a move that would easily have embarrassed the FBI if the FBI had not acted first, choosing to disclose this new discovery to the American public by reopening the investigation.
