CO Mother Says 9-Year-Old Son “Came Out As Gay” Before Committing Suicide Over School DENVER, CO. (THECOUNT) — Denver mom, Leia Pierce, said her son killed himself in their home on Thursday after being bullied at school. She says her son’s death stemmed from his coming out to her as gay over the summer. Pierce says her 9-year-old son, Jamel Myles, committed suicide at their home after she says the 4th grader revealed to her that he was gay. The boy then made the announcement to his classmates.

Since when did 9 year old children- let alone boys who often experience puberty in their teens come to realize he was gay- aka - inclined to have an erotic same sex interest?

I'm very sorry for this little child... but "Nope - it doesn't add up".
I'm not trying to shift the blame, but my guesses are as follows: (and none of these will surprise me)...
1) Munchausen by Proxy - Mom killed the child for sympathy, and to make a point about LGBTQ shouldn't be persecuted because she is LGBTQ

2) Mom or other child killed the child (maybe by accident or neglect); and this is a cover story

3) Mom is LGBTQ and has been shoving the "You can be who you want - you're probably gay" down the kids throat for years (That's why the kid was so tentative in telling her; and killed himself because he was afraid of "letting the mother down" that he was "straight").

4) Kid committed suicide because he was "so confused" because there was no father present to give any male guidance or structure.

5) Kid was afraid to tell the mother "I am gay"; because of repercussions. Why didn't the Mother ask (calmly), "Why do you think you're gay?" and listen - she might also have found out that the kid was being sexually assaulted and she is oblivious. (Being just so happy and supportive, without asking "Why is my 9 year old talking about being "gay"?)

6) Kid was upset over something else - and this is a convenient way for the mom to sue the school.
Because if it went down as it did... what parent is silly enough to say to a 4th grader "Yes - you decided a few weeks ago you're gay. Go proclaim it to everyone at school!" ? - unless they are 100% cheering and promoting that they (themselves) are so supportive of LGBTQ that they are willing to ignore all the red flags thrown up in this (supposed) conversation with their child?

This is so fucked up on so many levels, was he Gay or hetero transexual, why are all the stories on this so identical and is no one wondering why this child wasn't adequately supervised, welfare take your kids for letting them polay in the friont fucking yard, if he took drugs and didn't die this mother would be hung out to dry for neglect yet somehow because he killed himself "somehow" she's a victim, something wrong with this story, how the fuck did he die? he didn't will himself to death, no one pointed the bone at the poor kid

No word either on what he was doing alone in the house presumably long enough to successfully commit suicide. Bullying? Could it not be that maybe his issues were a bit deeper.
