To define cognitive dissonance psychologically is a mindset of inconsistent thoughts that affect behavior as well as the denial of evidence when presented to the percipient because it contradicts their ideological beliefs. This is the very core of the problem of perception with the ranks of American society. With Democrats using such typical tactics as distraction, deception, and classic propaganda to mislead voters, they have achieved division and confusion within our society today. This has resulted in unproductive and damaging political figures remaining in office for decades despite their poor performance.

From the horse’s mouth

No one could know that better than former KGB Agent, Yuri Bezmenov, who after defecting to Canada, toured the US and gave lectures during the Reagan Administration. He repeatedly warned the American people that the very signature of Soviet implanted socialist sentiment was present in our society. He warned of the stages of the Communist Manifesto achieving what he called in the final analysis-Normalization- when Russian troop trucks and tanks were in the streets of the country the Soviets had targeted for overthrow. Of course, this was a sarcastic observation by Bezmenov as for the Soviet definition of normalization would sure not fit the reality of the situation.

Deep penetration

Anyone who wished to dispute the reality of the deep penetration of Russian Communism in today’s culture need only look as far as Congressman from California, Eric Swalwell, tied to a Chinese operative by the name of Christine Fang. Federal intelligence investigators found that this woman had romantic ties with at least 3 Democrat mayors in the San Francisco Bay area along with Democrat Congressman Swalwell and helped promote his election campaign while collecting secret personal information about top political figures in the California state government, the very thing that any espionage operation would do.

Treason

If you think this is bad, let’s go back to 1984 when Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy approached the Russians for help in trying to keep Ronald Reagan from getting re-elected. We can see a definite further and further movement of the party to the left, even relying on assistance from Communists to intervene in US elections. Gathering intelligence information from the inside, donating money to the Democrat election funds, and influencing US foreign policy all go under deep cover, but can have a dangerous effect upon international foreign relations that could result in war time disadvantage for the US should hostilities break out with the Chinese.

The Democrats had done such a thorough job of deflecting and misdirecting the truth over news items as well as the long term goal of classroom influence that many college students can’t even distinguish between socialism and capitalism or the history of Communist dissent and wars all over the world. So indoctrinated are many millennials that they would vote for bills that would increase taxes, allow big government to further invade our privacy, and even blindly disapprove of the efforts of one President Donald J. Trump whose policies created more employment for all races in US society than ever before, secured the southern border, got significant tax cuts for the working class, and stimulus checks that helped invigorate the economy. How could these measures be criticized?

Brainwashed

Through lies and deception that have been able to attain cognitive dissonance in the minds of those that the Democrats want votes from their goal of division between the masses brings about political leverage in a bad way. When people refuse to consult the facts and continue to stick to their false beliefs you have exactly the state of mind that can be exploited by an oppressive government. Cognitive dissonance is the ultimate goal of overreaching government when constant propaganda has been repeated over and over again.

The unthinking

What is the end result of cognitive dissonance? Rioting for months in major blue cities like Seattle, Portland, and Minneapolis and feeling justified in doing so? What for? As a protest to the re-election of President Trump and so called “Nationalists”? Orchestrated over reaction to Police brutality when dealing with violent repeat criminals? Accusing President Trump of instigating resurrection on Capitol Hill when there’s nothing in his speech to trigger that, yet accusatory talking points, repeating of the “Big Lie” convinces the indoctrinated to embrace deception over truth. Cognitive dissonance, once achieved, allows the innocent to be politically punished while the true perpetrators go unprosecuted. Truth and evidence are one thing, but the refusal to accept fact is the very essence of cognitive dissonance and just how rulers throughout history have been able to manipulate the minds of those that they oppress! If the people cannot see how they are being deceived, herded, or brain washed then the ulterior motive has been attained.

Denial of wrongdoing

Ignorance of the issues, distortion of the truth, and indoctrination are the tools that seduce the gullible and conditioned to be manipulated. Those who are in cognitive dissonance will obey the orders of their masters. The Democrats have demonstrated this time and again. Perfect example in the case of Eric Swalwell, who criticized President Trump over and over while committing acts of plausible treason, yet he goes unprosecuted by a compromised Obama appointed Justice Department. Is there a public outcry? Are calls for the law to be enforced coming from people who should be well informed enough to have their voices heard? What about Ted Kennedy seeking help from the Russians to stop President Ronald Reagan.

Suspension of belief?

How about Joe Biden, his families million in business with the Chinese, our acknowledged enemies, his son Hunter’s crack smoking and sexual activity with underage girls, Hunter’s laundering of foreign money, and Joe Biden’s public admission of bribing Ukraine officials to fire a prosecutor hot on the trail of Hunter Biden? Why are these violations of law being rationalized by Democrat supporters when this could never be allowed if the actors were Republican? Answer: Cognitive dissonance as well as party bias. Of course this is all aided and abetted by a Democrat compliant media.
