Color-Coded "Bad Guy" Alert Phasing Out in April
Interesting. We've had this juvenile paint-by-numbers terrorist alert system in place far too long anyway.

However, it light of what's been developing recently with the beginnings of FEMA ordering food, blankets and fuel to "support 7M survivors" during a supposed exercise in May 2011 in the New Madrid fault zone, I'm thinking the color-coded alert system's deactivation prior to that exercise is suspiciously timely, given that once 'they' set off an horrendous earthquake throughout the southeastern U.S. that damn near splits the country in two that stupid alert system wouldn't make a whole lot of difference any more anyway.
And that's my paranoid thought for the day....

The first time I saw them lower the color code one level I just laughed. It was only lowered after every alert being proven as BS , and
generally issued to blow an important news story off the front pages.
Also laughable was to think we would ever be at the lowest level again.
A five level chart based on two plus two equaling 5.
