200,000 DOSES AGAINST THE FLU ARRIVE IN THE COUNTRY

Health officials take steps before second wave

This week, 200,000 doses of human influenza vaccine (H1N1) are set to arrive in the country. The deputy minister for Health, Ana Morice, confirmed the vaccine is Panenza,.

Authorities are hoping to immunize risk groups, such as health personnel, firefighters, Red Cross and the police with the first consignment.

“The objective is to keep the service infrastructure going ; they have more contact with the population” Morice added.

Approximately 60,000 doses have been earmarked for these officials. Later, citizens with risk factors will be vaccinated - such as diabetics, asthmatics, the morbidly obese, and those who suffer from hypertension and bronchial illnesses.

The vaccines are to be distributed among the various health centers, clinics and hospitals throughout the country so that those people who are insured can get them in their community.

The Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS) is assuming the cost of the shots ; each vaccine costs $7.5 In February, the CCSS is to receive 500.000 more vaccines, while another 1.100.000 doses are set to arrive in March, to equal -- including this week’s consignment -- a total of a 1.800.000 doses (the population is 4.4 million).

PALMARES AND THE SECOND WAVE

Concerning the popular festivities of Palmares scheduled for January 13 to 25, the vice minister said that they are taking the necessary steps for the moment.

“For these festivities, we are going to implement the same system we used for Zapote’s: regulations have been laid down for large scale festivities, such as having water, soap, alcohol gel, and signs available everywhere on the fair grounds. Inspectors will be evaluating the food; it has been working very well,” Ana Morice maintained.

The second wave of influenza is expected for February. Last year, the flu killed 47 people in our country: 26 men and 21 women. “Three were pregnant and three more suffered from Down Syndrome”.

Last year, there were 1700 cases of swine flu in Costa Rica with 47 people deaths ; the average age was 40 years.

SOLIDARITY LETTER FROM A CONCERNED CITIZEN.

PLEASE! Take the time to read this, and send it to everyone you know: let each citizen of Costa Rica take a free decision… but let it be an INFORMED decision: this letter is about what comes in the Panenza insert -the swine-flu vaccine we are getting this week, as Al Día informed us today.

PRELIMINARY NOTE: I am fully aware this letter of mine will NOT be to the liking of certain leaders - and that in this country (and this world) nothing is a secret, so trying to hide my name would be an absurd ; anyway, the fact that I’m the one who’s been translating all this info for months is a “loudspeaker secret” of course! If I hadn’t named myself before, it is because everything I’ve been translating had been written by somebody else ; but this letter is personal.

Now, as far as I know - and unless someone changed the Constitución Política without warning- you never know in this particular century and millenium-… for what I know, then, in Costa Rica, we still have Free Speech. So I will use it, if you’ll excuse me.

QUITE PROUDLY, I AM A COSTA RICAN - and NOT into politics, by the way. (Yet, having cleared that, (and talking about informed decisions!)… it could be worth your while to demand to know the official position YOUR favorite candidate has on the matter… since -quite obviously- Liberación Nacional has clearly shown it’s own.)

I’m not a doctor ; I’m just a tour guide.

The reason I got involved in this issue in the first place is that I work with foreign tourists, and these (both the recent, and the many I’ve kept communication with for many years now) have been telling me for months about their concerns for what’s going on in Europe, Canada and US, about these vaccines, and sending me lots of information about it -but not in Spanish. That’s when I freely decided… it was my responsibility not to let this be ignored, especially knowing the “ignorantist” attitude of our brilliant “communication” medias. IT IS TRUE Panenza is supposed to be “the lesser evil”, as far as H1N1 vaccines go.

But it also has some strings attached, as you will see. And remember, too, that the (pediatric) Sanofi vaccines were the 800.000 who were removed from circulation in US this december, http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/vaccination/syringes_qua.htm “because they had lost potency” ; now, people have to switch their kids’s second shot to some tremendous poison…

In any case, PLEASE take some minutes to think about this:

Anyway, what follows summarizes it, a grosso modo. Of course, it’s all very profitable for Sanofi: they scored a juicy raise of “just” $500 Millions for the last quatrimester of 2009! And it turns out that when I downloaded the insert, to see the details of “the safest of all the H1N1 vaccines”, it has some really odd contradictions after all…

Oddity 1: The same insert that says “it can be used without any problem on pregnant -any stage- and lactating women”… had said one phrase before -same paragraph- that there are no studies at all on pregnant-lactating women! Not to mention you can absolutely NOT put it into children less than 6 months of age.

(Cute, but -how many foetuses do you know…who were born more than 6 months ago?

Oddity 2: In the ingredients, it says -and repeats later on- that it is “without adjuvants or toxic products”, and basically, that it only contains egg protein with attenuated virus and distilled water ; it doesn’t say anything -anywhere- about formaldehyde or anything of the sort. BUT... in the counter-indications -a couple of pages later- it says to absolutely not take the Panenza vaccine if you’re hypersensitive to eggs (makes sense) but also… to formaldehyde (formalin), to neomycin (antibiotic/bactericide, but it doesn’t show in the ingredients list), or to octoxinol-9 (strong spermicide, says wikipedia)!

(So ¿where did all that come from, then? Now I understand very well, the idea- for now- is NOT to vaccinate pregnant women or children (thanks, INAMU - PANI, AGECO, for listening to Dr Paez!) ; but the police and other response personnel … do they all want to be injected with formalin/spermicides? Because they probably won’t be told the’re there… since they are NOT even listed! Yet if they are “not there”, how on Earth can they give you an allergy??? ¿What else is NOT in the insert, but IS in the vaccine?)

Oddity 3: It also says there is NO evaluation of possible interaction of Panenza with other medications or vaccines (but that it will give false results for a couple of months -on any test of whatever virus, not just the flu- and that, if mixed with other medications, the adverse effects of both will be that much stronger. Later, it says DON’T you get vaccinated with Panenza if you are taking any medicine, prescribed or otherwise.

(Right, but ¿who doesn’t take any kind of medication, these days -other than myself?)

Oddity 4: It says too that any center that administers them must imperatively have a complete ressuscitation kit, in case of severe reactions or anaphyilactic shocks.

(Phew! Thank God it’s harmless!!!)

Oddity 5: Elsewhere, it says any dose, or unused dose-parts, will have to be discarded in a very careful way as biohazard material ; less it would gravely contaminate the environment.

(Excellent for the environment, thanks! But… are you really sure you want to stuff your body with something… that under no circumstances can end up in the Río Tárcoles?)

Oddity 6: It strongly advises that for no motive whatsoever can it enter the vascular system.

(The vaccinated surely have no blood vessels in their biceps, what a relief!)

Oddity 7: It makes quite clear that there is NO tolerance data after marketing….

(Obvious! The data will be given by the “Guinea Humans” that get vaccinated -assuming someone allows such data to be officially reported ; in any case, such data don’t exist yet!)



Oddity 8: it says the following is very frequent (1 in 10)… migrains, allergies, irritations, long term crying, pain, myalgias, “transient” circulatory problems, high fever, erithema and other “mild” things of the sort, for several days.

Then it says that, as it is similar in ingredients to other vaccines, there can always be a risk of “in some cases, but without real data on their frequency” -talk about doublespeak-, there can be: transitory thrombocitopenia (Blood doesn’t clot- watch it: if this becomes autoimmune, you are TOAST) and transitory lymphadenopathy (Great fun, having ALL of your ganglia inflammated for a couple of weeks -assuming it obediently goes away) .

Also that there could be cases of neuralgia, paresthesia, febrile convulsions, encephalomyelitis, neuritis or Guillain-Barré (Wheelchair, someone?) Or maybe vasculitis, sometimes associated with kidney disorders. (Any volunteers for a luxurious dialisis?) Ah, and strong cutaneous reactions (SOOO sexy, looking like you got “mange”…).

NOTE: It says the “clinical tests” they made… were ON 24 PEOPLE!!! ¿What will happen, when 1.800.000 of our most naive people allow themselves to be vaccinated? It might be a “natural selection” on intelligence criteria, but it is NOT fair, especially when the media DOESN’T report any kind of truth, and when -since forever- our people trust their beloved Caja, whose members don’t even know what they are ordered to give us, sometimes …

Oddity 9: It says all this on the insert for the single-dose vaccine Panenza… which costs considerably more than $7.5 each -which is what the Caja is paying. The one that has a similar cost comes in the MULTIDOSE vials… but this one turns out to have something else, too: thimerosal -read mercury- ¡one of the most toxic substances known on this planet!

(Good to know we’lll ¡finally! be able to catch up with the US, where their poor kids went from 1 autism case in 100.000 in the fifites… to 1 in 64 in 2009 ¡thanks to the mercury in their sempiternal vaccines! Don’t worry: it also has adorable effects in adults…)

Oddity 10: It also says -regardless of one-dose or multidose vials- that you have to be vaccinated twice, even though there is NO differencial study of antibodies between people vaccinated once or twice ; later, it says it is NOT established if the second dose is needed… but that it has to be taken after 3 weeks anyway. (????) It also makes it crystal-clear that you can NEVER have your second dose with ANY H1N1 vaccine, other than Panenza…

(Could it be for the possible recombination risk, using your battered body -already weakened by the vaccines- as a handy incubator? -Now, I’m speculating on that one: I might be wrong.) Yet… it is based on Jean-Jacques Crèvecoeur’s website theory… and he’s been right so far.

OK, but ¿does it say anyplace in our super-duper transparent media… if the other vaccines who will get here in february and march… will be Panenza, too? Especially when they didn’t bother to mention the “wonder” we’re getting this week is from Sanofi-Pasteur’s lab -and that they managed to get the news out on THE day when everyone is at the beach -and hungover- (the worst possible day of the year to sell newspapers)! And remember what happened in the US…

So, WHAT IF the next ones are Pandemrix, Arepanrix, Focetria, Celtura, or who knows which of the other poisons that are steril-aborting/killling a bunch of people around the world -and that, even as the vast majority of people REFUSE to be vaccinated in the developped counties? Because THOSE are the ones the WHO is sending the Third World for free, after all… and maybe the Contraloría would like to save some bucks, later.

Note that Spain is the only country who bought the Panenza, but even so… their health minister is now running around to see if she can return her vaccines, since no one wanted them: they’re not that stupid in the other side of the “puddle”. Good for you Spaniards, “ostia”!



Now the question is: ¿will WE be dumb, when the “Mother Homeland” wasn’t? (Yessir, I know such phraseology is a real gloveful in the face in this part of the world, but the situation merits the measure.) ¿Are we still the same sheeple -that allowed ourselves to be conquered without that much of a fuss, 5 centuries ago?

Wholeheartedly, I sure hope not, but… the answer depends on YOU!!!

For what it’s worth -and only as a hunch: this vaccine comes from a lab in Lyon, France. I’m quite intrigued that just there (on Rockefeller avenue, nothing less) is also the prestigious bacteriologic lab directed by Dr Bruno Lina, counsel to Margaret Chan (WHO director), and who has been desperately trying to make H1N1 more deadly, by recombining it to avian flu -for months. He’s also in charge of other splendid things, like ebola, for example…
