What exactly do you think that means? Who is "I"? Make whom a covenant? and for which people? I get who was considered a "gentile" at that time, and I think it was Hebrew people which are "the people". However, I am not clear exactly what the verse is saying regarding the people of earth today. Maybe these are better email type questions. Theology is a fascinating subject that [can] creates fanatics and fanatical thinking in people.
