Several intelligence agencies are showing interest in a new Danish IT tool that can unravel the extensive terrorist network. The system is the first of its kind in the world.

Danish IT researchers from Aalborg University Esbjerg has developed a unique Internet tool that can help security agencies to dismantle terrorist networks.
Using electronic spy trawler through the Internet for information about terrorists' contacts and movements, and many data are then analyzed by a clever mathematical algorithm that creates a model for network construction.
"The reason that intelligence agencies do not have as much success in dismantling terrorist networks is that they often go after the wrong ones. Nasrullah Memon has recently put the finishing touches on a prototype system whose impact he demonstrates in numerous scientific conferences. Together with his colleagues, he has just started to develop the prototype into a real product that can help predict terrorist activities.
The whole project has attracted international attention and Nasrulla Memon has already been approached by international intelligence services were interested in establishing a collaboration. In addition to talking with the Danish intelligence service, he recently met with a South Asian Intelligence Organisation and International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research.
"The leader of the center have expressed great interest in collaborating with us on verification of data," says Torben Rosenorn department.
The system is safe
Although the tool will analyze terrorists' shady connections, then Nasrullah Memon and his colleagues completely open about their product, being directly, they are not afraid of that system into the wrong hands.
