I am compiling a book which addresses many phases of preparedness, and becoming more independent through planning and awareness of the local risks.

The theme of the book is to go from surviving the crisis, to rebuilding and homesteading.

I am posting the first section which addresses the basic items and philosophy of getting through the early stages of a crisis here as a PDF for peer review and critique.

The next section of the book will be describing how to use many different survival tools and techniques, as well as a ranking of each. Step by step photographs will be a large part of this section.  I am open to suggestions and recommendations. If you have any specific items to test please let me know, this is a budget book, but I will do my best.

Following sections will cover home structures, food gathering, food growing, power sources, water, and more.
