Apparently, Attorney General Eric Holder's Department of "Justice" is proud of "Project Gunwalker," as evidenced by the just-announced promotion of some of the most heavily involved principals. From the Los Angeles Times: The ATF has promoted three key supervisors of a controversial sting operation that allowed firearms to be illegally trafficked across the U.S. border into Mexico. One of the three distinguished promotees is William McMahon, moving from a deputy directorship of operations position for the western region (where "Operation Fast and Furious" was run) to--get this--a high position in the BATFE's Office of Professional Responsibility and Security Operations. Now he'll be investigating misconduct within the agency. Don't worry--maybe foxes make good henhouse guards.
