Lord knows we have seen too many examples of the supposed quest for scientific truth being transformed into a witch hunt that liquidates those who are not keeping their mouths shut. Science was intended to be that analytical way to prove fact until it became politicized by the left and used as a tool to validate lies! Those who spoke out against the conspiracies to maintain the secrecy became the casualties of the security state that have been covered up or conveniently overlooked. Why? Did the Deep State feel that divulging the truth would be worse than maintaining 70 years or more of a stone walled secrecy worth the deaths of those courageous enough to alert the public?

James Forestall

A man who endured the pressures of WWII, the emerging Security State of 1947, and his private knowledge of the UFO cover-up, former Secretary of the Navy and the First Secretary of Defense, James Forestall served admirably, but suffered mental exhaustion and depression. After reportedly running through the White House screaming that the, “Flying Saucers are invading us!” He was institutionalized for treatment at Bethesda Hospital for an alleged nervous breakdown. According to his son and family, James was a man who knew too much and cracked under the pressure, and was finally liquidated! Supposedly jumping to his death from his hospital room, witnesses tell of two brawny looking federal agents who paid the ailing James a visit prior to his alleged suicide! The room contained a very large window air conditioner that would have made it impossible for him to reach the window and jump, unless he had help!

James MacDonald

A brilliant Atmospheric physicist and meteorologist, who had served the US Navy as a code decipherer, James MacDonald went to work for NASA as one of their best scientists. He would serve also as an advocate for expanding UFO studies and believed in the extraterrestrial theory. Yet, after exhaustive research in analysis of UFO sightings and then presenting his data to his bosses he was extremely distraught over their dismissive reaction. Despite his achievements and credentials, the stonewalling he encountered led to his deep frustrations with a resulting marital separation and eventual attempts at suicide! After his wife returned and attempted to aid her husband in recovery from his first attempt with a loaded handgun, James completed the job allegedly after his wife had gone out with their children for a visit with relatives. The second time he succeeded. The continued pressure of being silenced and repudiated proved too much for this dedicated scientist to tolerate. Perhaps he was considered to be too much of a liability.

Edward J. Ruppelt

Former US Air Force B-17 machine gunner and flight engineer of WWII, Captain Ed Ruppelt would serve as the first director of Project Blue Book, the official UFO investigative agency of the US Air Force in 1950 thru 1953. He was acknowledged for transforming past efforts by the USAF from ignoring or minimizing past efforts of UFO investigations that had infuriated many WWII aviator veterans who had reported flying saucers, into a reputable investigating department. Though working with limited resources, Ruppelt improved reporting protocols and took his job seriously. However, after compiling impressive files, photographic evidence, and trained observer accounts, in 1953 during the Robertson Panel hearings, the CIA decided to reduce Project Blue Book to a PR agency while handing over reports that could be considered a threat to national security higher up the ladder to Wright Patterson Airbase for further technical analysis. All of the hard working officers such as Ruppelt and Major Dewey Forney and others who had struggled to make Project Blue Book into a credible agency applied for transfers, discouraged over the intentional denial by the intelligence consultants, or were they getting too close to the real truth?

In his1956 Book “The Report on Undefiled Flying Objects’” Captain Edward Ruppelt revealed the desperation of the US air Force to not only intercept UFO’s, but to recover their technology, while being afraid that they were simply outclassed by alien technology. The book created a sensation that even today has become an important reference guide! However, in 1960, according to UFOlogist, Donald Keyhoe, former US Marine Major and assistant to Charles Lindbergh, the US Air Force came down on Ruppelt, threatening to fire him from his civilian defense contracting job if he did not write another book retracting his findings in the 1956 release that had contradicted his former bosses. At 37 years of age, Edward Ruppelt suffered a fatal heart attack! According to Life Insurance actuarial statistics, the chances of a man of his age and background suffering such a death were highly unlikely! We have learned through the years that induced heart attacks as a manner of covert assassinations have been easy to achieve. Was the former USAF captain a victim of exposing the inconvenient truth? Donald Keyhoe thought that Edward had been so deeply hurt by the betrayal by the US Air Force, that he had succumbed under the stress. I’m not so sure!

According to other reports. There are some 144 defense contracting scientists and researchers who have mysteriously died for various reasons, either due to untimely public admissions or discrepancies with their bosses over the policy of silence. These men have worked at places such as Edwards AFB, Area 51, Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah, Kirkland Air Base, Holloman AFB in New Mexico, and other classified operating facilities. The gigantic defense contracting industry employs many of those privy to Top Secret projects who could have deadly consequences over attempts at informing the general public. The latest testimonies by those such as Dave Grusch and Lue Elizondo probably would have suffered the same fate as their predecessors had they been around decades earlier trying to divulge such forbidden truth.
