A frind of mine is in a wheelchair and could walk on braces but he's never wanted to do the necessary surgeries. He CAN use his legs to stand in one place and even push himself up a little - this thing would let him walk for the first time without the surgery. Plus it actually look pretty cool and stylish in a storm trooper sort of way.

Apparently people can rent them in Japan for something like $1,200 a day but so far are not available for sale.
