Good post tj Not many normals see the total importance of this bigger picture or give it the focus it deserves. I usually explain to folks that digital ID is a Unique Identifying Number ( one you have to carry forever - to engage. ) and currently Only the tax dept is able to Issue such a number, a Right you don't want to lose. People actually fear a perceived loss more than they do of missing out on potential gains - as studies have shown. So we are fighting to save rights, of privacy mainly which can not be traded against for perceived convenience.
