From the mid-50's to the mid-60's, musicians told the sweetest and most truthful human-to-human stories through their music.  It is an absolute shame that every administration since 'tricky Dick' [Nixon] did everything they could [based on what their handlers told them to do] to crush the soul of American music.  Since the 60's, there hasn't been much in the way of music or the arts in this country.

(As a side note: Does anyone remember pointed black lace-up shoes that were made by Flagg Brothers in the early-60's.  I saved for months to get a pair because the Everly brothers wore them - and when I did get a pair I wore them out while I sported a hairstyle like Phil Everly.  I was just 'too cool'......)
