Germany produced many of the key figures in the development of socialism, including Otto von Bismarck, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, and Adolf Hitler, so it should come as no surprise that some Germans are falling head over jackboots for its most alarming incarnation yet, ecototalitarianism.

The latest European bailout arrangements essentially establish a German “Fourth Reich” to rule Europe, geopolitical analyst James G. Rickards tells King World News today. While the excerpt of the interview posted at the King World News blog doesn’t include it, Rickards’ interview also covers the effect the U.S. debt ceiling issue likely will have on the gold market.
