My apologies for the lack of posts but I have been caught in that supposedly rare event that is becoming more and more common – floods. I could not make it to the front gate as a raging torrent replaced the usually dry valley as over 100mm of rain fell in less than 24 hrs. After a few days of enforced relaxation I made it to the road which was washed out in parts, trees down and not far away significant landslides.

And of all places for this to happen – it was near the poster child of global warming in Australia – Goulburn. It was only a few years ago Global Warming Watch announced that the drought global warming had claimed it’s first dam – Pejar Dam at Goulburn.

Sixty minutes reported “While many farmers believe that drought is just part of a natural cycle, scientist Dr Tim Flannery sees much broader and more sinister forces at work. We live in a new world where global warming and climate change now have Australia on the edge of permanent drought“.

So after Flannery’s forgery of permanent drought – what fate befell Pejar Dam which was downstream of where I was? Full to 100% capacity and flooding. Sooley Dam further downstream full to 100% capacity and flooding, Goulburn’s Marsden weir – a huge wall of water cascading over. Mulwaree River – flooding. It seems naturally Goulburn is returning to it’s waterlogged state – all courtesy of natural cycles of La Nina, PDO and a cooling sun.

What is the forecasts for the next 3 months? Much more rain to come!

Meanwhile overseas we get record cold and snow in the northern hemisphere, and even Cancun has freezing weather. And all the while the global elite try and their global warming gravy train try and ram global warming climate communism down our throats and destroy western democracy. That’s what is really happening at Cancun – what is the lamestream media and our pollies telling us about this ? Virtually nothing!
