Dreams won’t make reality come
When life loses everything that’s fun
Should I fight or just run?
Seems the entire world is done,,
Watching the news today
All the lies and disarray
Still wondering why she didn’t stay
One more sweet moment in the hay,
Guess I got the government blues
They’ve taken away my right to choose
Toxic policies cause we the people to lose
The traitors should be hanging by a noose,
Dreams won’t make reality come
When life loses everything that’s fun
Should I fight or just run?
To me it seems the entire world is done,
Oh my Dear same to you
I’ll always treasure a sky of blue
All those excuses right on cue
The daily assault of the human zoo,
The times are far between and few
Just to have a lover who is true
Forgive me for this point of view
Awaiting all of us is destiny’s rendezvous.
