When I read the words of this song I thought about the millions of folk who have been nothing but chattel - lulu - cattle belonging to their rulers, slaves of the state for so long. This has never been shown to us, so that we can see them for who they really are. The truth is only now coming out, as it must. I salute "Aljazeera" for broadcasting this truth. Our local news stations give us only a pittance of what is really going on. For the first time in history the smear campaign of the West against the Arabs is not washing! They are people who want to be treated with dignity and honor just like you and me. My heart goes out to them! They are the ones who have had to bare the brunt of the West...they are far from terrorists! They protested en mass with such control and staying power, showing that they do not stand for conflict and war. We have treated them as badly as their dictators in our thoughts about them. I ask for their forgiveness now because I was ignorant and was led to believe they were very militant as a people . I never knew their true nature, which is peace-loving and meek.
