History of Corporations & How They've Been Allowed to Take Over Just About Everything

This incredibly unsettling film explores the entire history of corporations and how they've been allowed to virtually take over just about everything, from our values, to our educational system and even our government.  This film is what launched the Kick Them All Out Project.  The information in this film is an absolute must for your education.  If you truly want to be informed about why the world is as it is, you must watch this film!  It's 3 hours, but I guarantee it will be worth the investment of your time.

This is an excellent 'long' documentary.

It discusses the "Pathology of Corporations".

In the video it discusses how the Amendment 14 of our constitution was extended to Corporations legally giving them Citizen status, therefore the producers decided to see 'what kind of human (i.e. psyche)  is a corporation'.  So like a psychiatrist the producers go through a checklist of human attributes to determine if the corporation is a psychopath.

I am finding this video invaluable, because I truly want to understand the whole workings of 'the machine' we are all thrust into, and corporations are a huge part. My hope is to locate the underlying causes to focus my efforts because, as an example, what good is it to give to charity if the causes of the problems still exist.

Side note:

It makes me ill when large corporations announce their charity work like we should all be so thankful.  So basically they destroy our environment, manipulate economies and mercilessly use desperate people all of which is causing much irreversible damage then smugly give pennies in charity... and want us all to be thankful.  URG! (pulling my hair out) I say, if you want us to be grateful stop your damaging activities AND compensate for ALL the damages.

More about the video:

One thing I learned early on is Amendment 14 was meant to protect the newly freed slaves not corporations. And also that corporations by law are required to maximize profits for their stockholders.  So right there are two areas that need to be addressed by citizens through congress.

About 30  minutes into the video a professor discusses how he has proof (documents) that Monsanto knew about the dangers of the hormone they put in milk and lied to the public about it.  And the FDA is allowing them to regulate themselves...we cannot allow this to happen.

I am still watching this. So I will add more to this post; it is after-all a 3 hour documentary.
