As hard as it may be for any of us to even imagine that our elected officials have anyhting but our best interest at heart. We really have to look at their past record. I don't mean just Canada or the US you can take any country in the world and put it under the microscope and history will show that when left unchecked corruption will permeate and it's people will suffer as a result. It is easy for us here in Canada to sit in our 2000sq ft homes with the two car garage, computer, 27" flat screen TV to be of the opion that we are immune. I hear comments all the time yes but that's in the US! Canada is different and we have different laws etc. etc. Well for one thing you don't have "laws" you have "statutes".

Whether you believe it or not those statutes are being repealed, replaced and removed on a daily basis and mostly without your knowledge and more importantly without your consent. Government meetings are bieng held in secret in Canada and elsewhere between Canadian politicians, foreign heads of state, and foreign corporations (SPP is an example). When our heads of state meet with foreign leaders and corporations in secret to discuss future plans for Canada without the consent of the people that is treason. These things are taking place right now in Canada, in the US, and in the UK etc. The information is out there and easy to verify. Right now these statutes ARE being implemented and your rights ARE being taken away it is now happening at an alarming rate and you are not seeing any of this in the media, not on television, not in the newspaper.

I was brought up through the era of the cold war, at the time I experienced and read the news reports of the the Korean (police action), Suez Canal conflict, the Cuban missile crisis, the French defeat in Vietnam, and then the US Vietnam War.

There have been many conflicts since then. Having said that. It is my belief that we are at the most crucial time in our history more than any other time in our existence I believe that we all have to take notice and understand what is happening in our world TODAY.

To understand and connect the dot's that are displayed if you look. I have friends who think I am paranoid, some think I'm just nuts and or just laugh. I am always amazed at how seemingly intelligent people can take an attitude of "don't confuse me with the facts because I already have my mind made up".

However, time will either prove me right or prove me wrong. I just wonder exactly how much time there is to reach that conclusion.

From 1932 through to 1939 (just seven years) the world witnessed a man (Adolph Hitler) a virtually unknown, man, rise up to become the most powerful man in Europe. By the time of his death in 1945 approximately 55,000,000 human beings had perished, and half of Europe and Britain lay in ruins. During his rise to power there were certain steps he had to take, and initiatives that he would have to implement. He surrounded himself with bodyguards (thugs) and as his power grew he knew he would need control of the police, the other security forces and the military.

There had to be a demon to point at, as well as some catastrophic event in which to create fear in the people in order to get the public on his side, and to get them to relinquish their rights in exchange for safety. Of course the Jews, and the communist were his choices for a demon (someone to hate) and the burning of (Germany's equivalent of the twin towers) the Reichstag was the event that facilitated the seizing of power and gave Hitler (who was Chancellor at the time) control of the police and the other security forces. This was done by Hitler pressuring President Paul Von Hindenburg to sign into law the "Reichtag Fire Decree" and ultimately the "Enabling Act" (Germany's equivalent of the Patriot Act) much manipulation was used to get this act passed, including the incarceration of officials that could have voted against it.

Under the Enabling Act the government (Hitler) now had authority to pass laws without parliamentary consent or control. This was an unprecedented situation in that these laws could even deviate from the constitution (exactly what we are currently witnessing in the US). The act effectively eliminated the Reichstag (Germanys equivalent of congress)

The Enabling Act passed on March 23 1933 and came into force on 27 March 1933 made Hitler the dictator of Germany. Under his orders sweeping new laws were implemented and the removal of citizens rights took place (just as we are seeing now in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand under their respective acts). New departments were formed, the Gestapo [secret police] (Germany's equivalent to Department of Homeland Security) laws passed in 1936 gave the Gestapo carte blanche to operate WHITHOUT judicial oversight (sound familiar wire tapping, illegal search, etc.).
