I'm inclined to agree with those that theorize we are entering another (mini / little) ice age, the PTB knew that sun activity would be at a maximum in the 90s/ early 00s and in conjunction with weather mod technology they could push THEIR 'global warming' agenda.
One thing on the agenda was that the PTB were evidently hoping to remove older petroleum powered vehicles (emp proof and easily maintained at home) and diesel vehicles in time, limiting free movement, ensuring the population was contained at a later date - things haven't exactly gone to plan for THEM.
I for one welcome Skaði or Winter Chan (as the 4chan kids call her)
