Idiocy is as idiocy does

It’s just that way because

In the media it’s all the buzz,

There is a point in time

When atrocities are no longer a crime

Where our political leaders are pantomimes

Where disinformation will continue to climb,

You’ve got two left hands

The liars are the firebrands

Your vocal chords are elastic bands

Your love swallowed by shifting sands,

No reason to embrace the insane

Problem is can’t you stall the pain

They won’t listen when you explain

When it all burns down you’ll get the blame,

Standing too close to the flame

Every day just seems the same

Just trying to survive the devil’s reign

Until no survivors remain,

Gabriel sound that trumpet again

This nation has refused to mend

No positive vibrations to send

Your faulty ideology you can’t defend,

Have another slice of that toxic pie
