The 4th of July in America, has basically become synonymous with celebration and good times.  Perhaps a few ice cold beers, barbecues, music, fireworks, and maybe some good ol' fashioned family communion.  All great and wonderful things! However, in our modern age of technology, ingenuity, and the great prosperity that has gotten us all to this point in our country's remarkable history, complacency and apathy has eroded the fires in the minds of men, and unfortunately much has been lost in the public consciousness that remind us of what this celebration is really all about.  

No, the true and just reason for celebration is that this July 4th marks the birthday of the greatest, and originally the most free and liberty-minded country ever to be assembled on the face of our wonderful planet.  In fact, to be more specific, it is the 236 year anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.  A timeless document that in all its simplistic glory, (that along with the Bill of Rights and Constitution that would come later) defined what it is to be a free nation governed by and for The People, and laid out in stunning detail the ridiculous, and over-reaching powers that the King of Great Britain declared himself to have, and worse, tried to bestow on, and strangle through force the good people of the original 13 colonies.

Well friends, the time has come where the engine of freedom we once were has grinded to a halt, and now we are once again threatened by a tireless, ruthless, despotic organization.  The difference today, is that this threat comes not from Britain or any other country in particular, but from within, in conjunction with small minorities of "powerful" people in foreign lands and countries.  I use the term "powerful" in quotation marks, because these particular individuals' power comes not from a divine right to rule, but from a sleeping, misinformed, and therefore consenting citizenry.  

While we have went about our daily lives and were taking advantage of the rewards of free markets and freedom in general, we have also slept while the corruption and tyranny has grown around us like a cancer across this great land, and indeed the entire globe.  These people that seek to enslave us are involved in a conspiracy that is not a mere theory, but actual fact.  They have publicly stated their goals and aspirations as being the builders and agents for what they call in their OWN words, NOT mine, a New World Order.

And so today, we are met with a challenge that is new, and yet the same.  Shall we go on being the sleeping sheep while the wolves gather and encircle us waiting to pounce on their subject?  Or shall we stand up, speak out, and take back what is rightfully ours while we still have a chance?  The truth is, we no longer have a choice in the matter if we want our children and grandchildren to have a future, and if we want this great nation and planet to last so that they can reap the rewards and benefits that so many of us have taken for granted.

In this article, we will attempt to outline and break down in sobering detail just how similar our situation here in America today is compared with what our fabulous founders were facing in the iron grip of King George III 236 years ago.  The point is not to incite fear, anger, or any other negativity, but rather inform through facts and logic just how dire our straights really are at this present time.

For some, this will only be a testament to the obvious, but for many this will be, or at least should be, a refreshing reminder, and startling wake up call...

The Declaration of Independence begins as follows:

"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world."

Sound familiar yet?  Let's go on with the rest of the Declaration, and see what examples are mirrored in our present state:

"He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good."

Perhaps most obvious, is our Presidents' claim to be able to side-step or in some cases, completely ignore acts of Congress through the use of "signing statements."  A process never granted by consent of the people, or outlined in the Constitution that supposedly allows the President to make notes to bills signed into law that prevent him from following the law as it is written, or at the very least gives notice that the President chooses to interpret or acknowledge the law as he sees fit.  Most if not all laws passed nowadays have "signing statements" added to them, and thereby are in clear and open violation of the Oath of Office of the President of the United States.
"He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them."

A perfect example of this is perhaps the movement to audit and eventually remove the Federal Reserve banking system from controlling and issuing our currency through what is called "fractional reserve lending."  Congressman Ron Paul (R) Representative of Texas, has been trying for 30 years to get a bill to audit the Federal Reserve System passed through Congress.  Even though an overwhelming majority support the move to audit this PRIVATE BANK that controls the purse-strings of our country, very little is ever achieved or accomplished as far as getting it through both houses of Congress, let alone signed into law.  The Federal Reserve Act, was illegally forced through Congress in 1913 when only 3 people in Congress were present on the floor.  At that time, only a majority of votes were needed to get the bill passed.  The Act was never ratified by all of the States either, but since then, has gone on to dictate and conduct monetary policy in this country in a completely private, and illegal fashion.  The prime source for all the crashes of the 20's and 30's, and even the cause of our inflation, debt, and ALL other economic troubles to this very day.

"He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only."

An example of this would most obviously be the so called "Super Congress" set up to dictate and oversee monetary policy in the Congress.  The 9 members would be technically appointed through fiat, and mostly personally appointed by the President himself as the 10th member, and would effectively bypass the laws of the Constitution of the United States, and forefeit proper representation of the People.  There is absolutely, under no circumstance, any authority granted for this to take place, yet it has, and has also shown to be a complete, and utter failure, as again, we are now seeing in the play-out of our economy today.

"He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures."

Again, illegal under the Constitution, and re-affirmed by the Logan Act, secret meetings behind closed doors are conducted in a routine fashion by both major political parties and so-called independents, and their members.  Many of these meetings have been given titles over the years in the public mind, but is rarely mentioned by what is supposed to be the fourth branch of government: the media.  Such titles include the Bilderberg Group, The Trilateral Commision, The Council on Foreign Relations, the Club of Rome, The Rhodes Institute, and many other politically motivated, but more mainstream organizations like the Heritage Foundation, Carnegie Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and many, many others.  Only brief research would reveal that most of these attendees are all mostly politicians and bankers, the same people that position themselves in levers of apparent power to further the New World Order agenda, and therefore by their affiliations, are effectively illegal and outside legislative bodies conducting and forming policies that are completely opposite of what it means to be a free nation.

"He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people."

"Executive Orders" as they are called by the Office of the President, which are dictatorial powers conducted by the President openly, willfully, and therefore illegally, and again, bypassing any Congressional oversight and representation of the People of the United States.  Executive Orders are by definition, acts of High Treason on the United States of America and its People, and of course are not allowed under ANY provision in the Constitution of the United States of America.

"He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within."

Can anyone deny that it has become near impossible for anyone to be represented that is not a member of the Republicans or Democrats, and that for the most part, only differing slightly on rhetoric, either party has any real difference of substantial value?  I think never more clearly has this been the case where you have the majority of people strongly opposed to what is known as "Obamacare" and the Republican political opponent in this year's election is Republican Mitt Romney, who provided the blueprint for the law.  Furthermore, both parties are guilty of sending our standing armies overseas to fight wars of aggresion against sovereign nations that have never once committed any crimes against this country, whilst leaving the borders here at home to be essentially dissolved and defenseless against any threat that might ever harm or attempt to harm this country.  9/11 of course is by far the biggest and most obvious example of this.  There is striking and alarming proof that the attacks were carried out, or were at the very least, allowed to be carried out on this country.  Even if the official story is true, the first thing any REAL President would have done is immediately shut down the borders of the United States.  But instead, the borders were left wide-open, and arguably the most heavily guarded airspace in the entire world was allowed to be completely invaded without any action for several hours on that day.  The official story states that 19 hijackers from Saudi Arabia carried out the attacks, and then we went and bombed Afghanistan and Iraq.  Yep, makes sense to me.

"He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands."

Again, the borders are left wide-open for immigrants of an illegal nature to flow into this country.  This campaign also involves allowing these illegal immigrants to be effectively immune to any laws that are imposed on the actual citizens of this country, through the basic loophole and argument that the laws do not apply to them since they are NOT citizens.  

"He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers."

Department of Justice's Fast & Furious scandal anyone?  Shipping guns and weapons into Mexico to undermine and blame the Second Ammendment since they have been so far unable to pass a law restricting or abolishing that Ammendment.  Again, an open act of High Treason on the People of the United States of America.  I might also add, that this program extends as far back as the Clinton Administration on the Congressional Record, and so therefore both parties are guilty of this crime.  Democrats, Republicans, and Democrats again.

"He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries."

Lobbyists.  Pure, simple, and rather self-explanatory here.  Like again, a Republican Chief Justice casting the deciding vote on "Obamacare" just this last week, so you know he's snuggled up and is being "taken care of" quite nicely.

"He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance."

The Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Safety Administration, and others, who are NOT sworn, bonded officers to the Constitution, held accountable to the People and Representatives, and are operating and exercising as they put it:  "Administrative Privelage."  Just like the SS or Gestapo of Nazi Germany, these are occupants of this country, operating outside of Constitutional Law, and are therefore illegal, and performing acts of High Treason on this Republic against the Bill of Rights on a daily basis, right up to this very minute, and growing in size and scope evermore through each passing second.

"He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures."

Repeat of the before mentioned.  Without any authority granted, the TSA by definition, sexually assaults, molests, tortures, and operates outside of already existing laws against such acts.  Homeland Security spies and wiretaps entire millions of people in this country just for starters, without any declaration of individual suspicion or search warrant acquired, required under the Constitution of the United States.
"He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power."

The Government has declared federalization and worse, MILITARIZATION of essentially all or most other government organizations including the IRS, EPA, FDA, DOE, DOI, and even most of the standard police forces throughout the country.  It is a violation of the Constitution, and Posse Comitatus to have any troops or militarized forces policing inside the borders of the United States, especially when not authorized by the People themselves, or through the Representatives they elect.

"He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:"

Again, all the before mentioned...

"For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:"

Obviously demonizing trade with other countries in all sorts of ways, mostly regulated by the un-Constitutional United Nations and WTO, and consolidating most goods and trades to be done with slave-labor made, low-quality goods from China...

"For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:"

Again, Federal Reserve Act's income tax, social-security tax, and of course now the "Obamacare" penalties, etc., etc....

"For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:"

"For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:"

Such as the NDAA, where the President claims the right to kill any American citizens he deems a threat to his regime, and/or hold them indefinitely without charge or trial both here and overseas...

"For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies"

Like the uniform localization of uniform laws under "Globalization" and "Standardization" through tyrranical United Nations dictats like Agenda 21...

...And the rest of it, which is more of the same, and basically is almost word for word and self-explantory for everything we are seeing today, such as:

"For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:"

"For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever."
"He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us."

"He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people."

"He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation."

"He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands."

"He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions."

"In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

"Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

So you see folks, 1776 style tyranny with a 21st century style technocratic overlay is right on our doorstep.  Are we really going to sit back and watch as this gets worse and worse, and just hope that things get better?  Is that really a sensible thing to do if we still care about "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness?"  Is this really a sensible thing if we have any LOVE or hope for humanity left?

The choice we are left with now is tyranny or liberty, and the result is up to each and every one of us.  

The time has come again.  The time is now!

To paraphrase here, perhaps Bill Pullman in the movie "Independence Day" said it best:

"We can't be consumed by our petty differences any more. We will be united in our common interest.....Perhaps it's fate that.....you will once again be fighting for our freedom.....We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.....We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive. Today we celebrate our independence day!"
