INSANITY AT THE USDA - ADVOCATES BURNING WOOD (OUR FORESTS) FOR ELECTRICITY

Time to route those madmen out of the USDA and develop our mid-America oil, natural gas, coal, oil shale/sand resources first.
I lived in Oregon, and forests are not sustainable resources.
Stop hugging the damn trees and defending OUR trees and forests. I live in FL now, and there are many planted forests. The size has dwindled in 20 years to mere 10 inch in diameter pines. The trucks aren't laden with huge oaks. They're all gone. The planted forests are being used for wood chips and paper. Pne plantations don't work.
If you live in the Pacific NW, I'd like to know what replaced the slash and burn that is practiced there of old growth.
Please come to my blog and comment on this subject that is making me crazy. Look at the Amazon; look more recently at Haiti. When the forests are gone, so are species that live there. I see the master plan. Can't you?
