Iraq Veteran Sergeant Shamar Thomas Owns the Police at Times Square OWS Protest
After witnessing unprovoked police brutality perpetrated against non-violent OWS protestors in Times Square, decorated veteran Sergeant Shamar Thomas (retired) gave police a piece of his mind. "This is not a war zone" Nobody has guns here." said the former marine repeatedly.
Police seemed hesitant to use the same methods against M. Thomas that had been used against protestors in order to compel him to move along.
