Is Ron Paul Connected to Bilderberg Elite?

I certainly am impressed with Ron's long standing record of upholding the Constitution and Americans' rights.

The first thing I want to say in writing this article is, I am not writing this in order to attack Ron Paul. I have supported Ron Paul since he decided to run for office this time, and I have always believed that he is the only candidate capable of defeating Obama, and actually making decisions that will truly help to throw the Yolk of the New World Order Elites from off of America's shoulders.

However, there has come to my attention that recently Ron Paul's campaign has received $900,000 from a member of the steering committee from none other than the Bilderberg Group. This would seem somewhat disturbing if in fact it was true.

An article from ology.com states:
Oh the irony of it all. On Wednesday, it was disclosed that well known technology investor Peter Thiel is the biggest donor to Texas Rep. Ron Paul’s Super PAC. Theil, a wealthy international financier is also a gay libertarian and, wait for it, a member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group!
Buzzfeed originally broke this story it seems in an article titled  Ron Paul's Biggest Supporter Is A Bilderberger, International Finan... where it states:

Thiel -- who gave $900,000 to the pro-Paul group Endorse Liberty -- made his fortune as the co-founder of PayPal; he was also an early investor in Facebook, and is now a major player in the world of high-tech venture capital. He's also a devoted libertarian and devoted Republican: He hosted a fundraiser for the confrontational gay conservative group GOProud at his grand apartment off Union Square in 2010.Thiel is also a member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group, the elite, invitation-only conference that's the frequent subject of conspiracy theories.
In the article on Buzzfeed, they claim that their source of information (linked in their article) on a $900,000 donation by Peter Thiel comes from a New York Times Link. Upon going to the article, I found that Peter Thiel has donated to Endorse Liberty in the amount of $900,000.

Endorse Liberty's website states:

Welcome to Endorse Liberty. We are an alliance of entrepreneurs, inventors and creators who have come together to promote the cause of liberty as the founding principle that powers America.
Open, unhampered creativity—technological, medical, artistic, musical, educational, agricultural, environmental, etc.—creates the jobs that fuel our economy and brings maximum prosperity to individuals and communities.
Liberty is the foundation of American culture. We believe America can regain its place as the world's role model. We endorse and promote the leaders who champion liberty.
The introductory page of the site clearly show that Endorse Liberty raises money for Ron Paul's campaign.
At the bottom of the pageit states:
Paid for by Endorse Liberty. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. Privacy Policy
The New York Times article and chart also shows that there are "No known candidate ties" between Endorse Liberty and any candidate or candidate's committee. I was going to send an email to Endorse Liberty's press dept. but the link would not work that was posted on their page.

In the New York Times article they report that they tracked down donors to "Super Pacs". Super Pacs, being independent from candidates, can raise unlimited funds from individuals, corporations and labor Unions, as well as spend unlimited amounts either supporting or opposing candidates. Candidates are limited to recieving contribution at the maximum of $2,500 per person each election.

Now back to the buzzfeed article which states that Peter Thiel is on the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group. The article states about Thiel:

Thiel -- who gave $900,000 to the pro-Paul group Endorse Liberty -- made his fortune as the co-founder of PayPal; he was also an early investor in Facebook, and is now a major player in the world of high-tech venture capital. He's also a devoted libertarian and devoted Republican: He hosted a fundraiser for the confrontational gay conservative group GOProud at his grand apartment off Union Square in 2010.Thiel is also a member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group, the elite, invitation-only conference that's the frequent subject of conspiracy theories."They probably get together and talk about how they're going to control the banking systems of the world and natural resources," Paul said in 2008.
Their source for this evidence is the official website of Bilderberg  , where Peter Thiel is indeed named as a current Steering Committee member.

While there does seem to be a connection between Ron Paul and Mr. Thiel of the Infamous Bilderberg Cabal, I wonder how close those ties really are.

The New York article on those tied to Super Pacs show that Candidates Mitt Romney (Restore Our Future), Rick Perry (Make Us Great Again), Barack Obama (Priorities USA Action), Jon Huntsman Jr (Our Destiny), Newt Gingrich (Winning Our Future), Rick Santorum (Red White And Blue Fund), and Herman Cain (9-9-9 Fund) all have ties to the groups supporting them by having either former staff or associates that advise or run the Super Pacs. However, Ron Paul has no former associates or former staff ties to the "Endorse Liberty" group, according to the same article.

Peter Thiel is a libertarian and a Republican according to Buzzfeed, and Ron Paul is a Libertarian running on the Republican ticket, so although Thiel may desire to donate money to a candidate he feels may just in fact take office in 2012, I feel that this in no way makes Ron Paul complicit in the goings on at the Bilderberg meetings, and I certainly am impressed with Ron's long standing record of upholding the Constitution and Americans' rights. Ron Paul has not given in to the Elites in the past, and I don't feel he will bend to Thiel just because donations have gone to an organization that supports Paul's campaign.

There are many organizations that support candidates that have no actual ties to the candidates themselves. This seems to be the case with Ron Paul and "Endorse Liberty".

Besides, if the Elite want to contribute to their own demise, far be it form me or Ron Paul for that matter to stop them!

Not voting doesn't hurt them and voting isn't an endorsement of the system, to quote Tom Woods >> (1) If you were stuck in a prison camp, and the guards let you vote on whether you were to have gruel or prime rib for dinner, would you be “consenting to the system” to vote for prime rib, or would you simply be doing the best you could under the circumstances to improve your material condition? (I owe this argument to someone but can’t remember where I got it from. Roderick Long, maybe?)

(2) Many Americans won’t consider even listening to a point of view that barely registers on the political radar screen. Whether out of intellectual laziness, cowardice, whatever, they just won’t. So it hurts us if Ron Paul gets 1% of the vote. But if he gets solid double digits, those people who might be faint of heart might realize they aren’t totally alone in supporting him, and will be more willing to do so. Yes, this is ridiculous and unjust, but that’s how it is. That’s why I think it hurts the cause of the free society not to vote for Ron Paul.

Maybe this signals a change in Bilderberg policy?

Peter Thiel is a good guy IMO he also gives to the Seasteading Institute. Honestly just going to a meeting designed to find and groom people for positions is hardly proof of being a bad person or involved in the grand conspiracy. Being on the steering committee for a man like him is very odd. It puts a question mark next to his name forever. I'd go if asked, would be very interesting. You can usually tell the bad from the good with common sense ... they're usually not libertarians LOL! Kinda boggles the mind why he's on the steering committee, it's just confusing but then again their meetings are secret so finding out exactly his real views and motives is a crap shoot.

They have been bringing in new blood for some time now, especially the Internet heavy weights. It's complex, the modern Bilderberg group is not a classic secret society but a think tank of sorts, a recruitment platform, a consensus building and networking group. These guys have been especially pissed off with Ron Paul's success so again how Peter is allowed to be in the upper echelon of their group is a puzzle. I'll post more later possibly but Ron Paul is blameless in this one if there is even anything wrong with Peter??
