J.C. Penney's To Become First Major Retailer To Adopt Cashless Biometric Payment Systems In All Stores - To Ditch Registers / Cashiers (Only Couple Years Remaining Before Full Spectrum 666?)

Posted 10:46AM 07/23/12

Cash registers could join the ranks of pay phones and typewriters sooner than you think.

J.C. Penney (JCP) will say farewell to cash registers, checkout counters and cashiers by 2014, said Ron Johnson, the chain's CEO, during the Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference, reports Time.

Penney's plan evokes Apple's (AAPL) mostly cash-register free stores -- and that comes as little surprise: Johnson was the head of Apple Retail and is considered the mastermind behind its success. He left Apple in November to take the top spot at J.C. Penney.

Johnson, who has been in the headlines lately for Penney's radical, controversial -- and so far, unsuccessful -- strategy to eliminate most of its sales and coupons, is now looking to shake up the checkout experience in the chain's stores.

His plan is to eliminate cashiers, cash registers and checkout counters, replacing them with a patchwork of technology solutions, such as WiFi networks, mobile checkout, RFID (radio frequency identification) technology tracking systems for merchandise, as well as self-checkout options.

Reality has a way of kicking your butt when you least expect it. Well, here is reality. So many more people without any job,and it keeps on going. More no work then more depend on the gov. So many of us has never had to really take care of ourselves. Thats about to change in a big way.

I think this is bullshit. People will be loseing their jobs by the thousands. What happens if they decide to turn your box off? Then what? What happens if your at the super market and it all shuts down? What if your buying something and the government finds it to be not to healthy for you and they don't let you check it out? Way to much control. I think it sucks!! Just my opinion. Peace

if its a Winblows OS running things, won't  take long to clog up the sys when the welfare recipients start feeding it coupons, rebates, rain checks, bulk discount club cards, pay their electric & local cable bill, get a 68$ money order & wanting a stamped envelope, & Paying for it all w/ food stamps!!  w00t!

If this is supposed to entice me to shop there, it;s not gonna work. First, I don't like driving to a mall and second, if you buy anything you will a long wait at the cashier and there's never any floor people if you have a question about something. So having less cashier's will only make the problem worse. This sounds like a desperate move in the wrong direction for a sinking business.

The self-checkout stands in grocery stores have been a huge failure where I live and some supermarkets are now eliminating them altogether and taking a loss because many customers will stand in line for 10 minutes with one item rather than go to the self-checkout.

Ten years ago people thought it could never happen. No way. That was just crazy right wing conspiracy theory. Ya know, back when the CFR didn't exist and was just a figment of the crazy conspiracy theorist's imagination.

This is certainly one of the NWO plans, like RFID. Nick Rockefeller told Aaron Russo, when he was trying to recruit him into the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), that they planned to do away with money, everything would be electronic, and that they planned to have everyboooody chipped (as well as telling him, ELEVEN MONTHS BEFORE 9/11, that there was going to be 'an incident', and because of it the US would attack Afghanistan and Iraq, we would see US troops hunting through caves for arabs, there would be a 'War on Terror', and after that the US would go after Venezuela (see 'Aaron Russo: Historic Interview' video online).

So don't write the idea (cashless society) off; the Banksters generally get what they want!
